Through use of light and photography, I am questioning identity, femininity, and self. I am abstracting and highlighting the figure with digital color studies projected onto those present in my life. The layering of mediums throughout my process – digital painting to projection to photography – allows me to spend more time with the material. I am grappling with the idea of what others project onto me. I am searching for truth of identity in projection and perception.
